I had the immense pleasure to work with Robert Neal Marshall in the making of “Back From The Light”, a film-documentary focusing on the near death experience survivors and the after effects. 
This film is apropos because it helps Experiencers realize they are among many, around the world, who had a similar experience and have to live with the remembrance of an event which has no earthly point of comparison. The film is an exciting journey bringing together Near Death Experiencers, family and friends, with the specific focus on the after-effects of such a life transforming experience and how they have readjusted to a ‘normal’ life. It takes us into a journey of exploration of what life is like on a daily basis, following the “return”, on an emotional and physiological level, and how spiritual beliefs and relationship drastically changed.. The film premiered at the next IANDS national conference in San Antonio Texas in 2015.

Around the world literally millions deal with Near Death Experiences, either personally or as the loved one, family or friend of someone who has been on that journey. Lives are changed irreversibly by surviving such a life shattering event. Back From The Light is a new documentary film that addresses understanding and coping with these deeply personal changes for all involved.

Back From The Light interviews dozens of people, including New York Times #1 Bestselling author Dr. Mary Neal, author Dave Bennett, and author/researcher PMH Atwater, LHD, who have had a direct personal experience, or as family members and friends of a near death experiencer. Also includes are candid insights from medical and mental health care professionals who have dealt with Near Death Experiences and research as part of their regular practice.

The goal of Back From The Light is to help and educate those who may need to know more about surviving and coping after a Near Death Experience, to let them know that they are not alone, and to provide personal insights into this phenomenon that is slowly gaining worldwide recognition.
